    South East Technological University (Ireland) is offering a fully funded four-year PhD position titled “Agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation for Terminology Translation in Neural Machine Translation”. The project focuses on improving domain-specific terminology translation in neural machine translation and large language models, combining approaches such as agentic RAG, glossary-constrained decoding, and low-resource translation.

  • EMLex Highlighted at iMAES Graduate Information Day

    The iMAES research institute at the University of Santiago de Compostela has held the “Alén do Grao 2026/2027” Information Day, an event designed to guide students on postgraduate opportunities after completing their degree. One of the highlights of the programme was the presentation of EMLex – the European Master in Lexicography, which was showcased as a leading international and interdisciplinary option for students interested in lexicography, language technology, and dictionary research.

    The EMLex group recently completed a successful excursion in Brussels, where students had the opportunity to choose between visiting the Museum of European History or joining a guided city tour in German. In the afternoon, the group visited the European Parliament, an experience that was both informative and inspiring.

    We are delighted to share the successful completion of the latest international mission of the European Master in Lexicography (EMLex) in Valparaíso, Chile. The visit strengthened academic collaboration with the Institute of Literature and Language Sciences (ILCL) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (PUCV) and highlighted new opportunities for cooperation in lexicography and language studies.
