Dieter Götz Class publishes report on EMLex colloquium at IDS

At the invitation of EMJM-EMLex, our Dieter Götz cohort students attended the EMLex colloquium, which was hosted at the Leibniz Institute for the German Language (IDS) in Mannheim, Germany.

The event, Interdisciplinary Lexicography, gave the students the opportunity to gain insight into some of the latest developments in lexicography, including technological and methodological aspects of digital lexicography, language didactics and learner's dictionaries, as well as linguistic change, norms and society.

On day two of the programme, under the guidance of Sascha Wolfer, the students collaborated on a paper that synthesised the most innovative ideas from the colloquium. This has now resulted in a joint publication.

A detailed, student-authored report of the colloquium (in German) has been published on the Linguistik Drafts blog, offering reflections from the participants' perspective: https://lingdrafts.hypotheses.org/2785.
