EMLex Career Day Highlights Opportunities in Lexicography

The European Master in Lexicography (EMLex) held its Career Day in Budapest today, connecting students and professionals in language technology and publishing.

Morning sessions at the Research Centre for Linguistics featured talks by Prof. Gábor Prószéky and a workshop on compiling entries for the Comprehensive Dictionary of Hungarian.

The afternoon at Károli Gáspár University included presentations from publishers L’Harmattan and Duden, EdTech innovators like Xeropan, and a lively alumni roundtable. The event closed with networking and recruiter meetings, reinforcing EMLex’s role in shaping careers in lexicography.
